• Talladega City Schools Summer 2025 Staff Digital Device Agreement

  • Loan Period: May 31, 2025 - August 1, 2025

     

    I, the User, acknowledge that in order to receive the above identified Talladega City School District (“the District”) provided technology device, this Agreement must be read, acknowledged, and signed, and in doing so agree to the following:

     A District provided technology device must be used only by the User identified in this agreement; 

    The User shall comply with the District’s acceptable use policy,which is available on the District website, in his or her use of any district provided technology device; 

    Any District provided technology device loaned to the User must be returned to the school district in the condition it was initially provided to the user considering reasonable use and care by the user at the end of the loan period; 

    The dates of which the device will be used for official Talladega City School District purposes during the loan period are annotated on this agreement and have been approved by the administrator at your building;

    The User shall be responsible to reimburse the District the cost of this technology device ($900.00 - MacBooks, $800.00 - Windows Laptops) if, during this loan period, the device is lost, damaged beyond reasonable use or beyond its value, abandoned, missing, stolen, or cannot be returned to the district in accordance with the terms of this Talladega School District Technology Device Summer Provision Agreement, unless; 

    If, during this loan period, the device is being used during an approved Talladega City School District official purpose date, listed on this agreement, when the device is lost, damaged beyond reasonable use or beyond its value, abandoned, missing, stolen, or cannot be returned to the district in accordance with the terms of this Talladega City School District Technology Device Summer Provision Agreement, the user will not be responsible to reimburse the District the cost of this technology device; 

    The user will be required to report any hardware or software problems in the operation of the device to the Director of Technology within the same day in the event the technology device has been damaged or is missing.

  • I, the User, have read the terms above, understand the terms, and agree to abide by these terms, and shall comply with all school district policies for the use of this school district provided technology device. I, the User, acknowledge that I shall be subject to consequences in the event I violate any school district policy, including the district’s Acceptable Use Policy and any provision of this School District Technology Devices Summer Provision Agreement.
